In India there are about 320 universities or university level institutions including Deemed Universities,Agricultural Universities, traditional universities,technical Universities, medical Universities,Information technology Universities, Journalism University, Law Universities and open universities. Most of the universities have their presence on web but the few have not or their presence on web is not easy to trace.This is a Herculean task to trace their presence on web since some have not distinct websites. Names of many universities have been changed or being changed.
